Technical Requirements

The manuscripts must be language edited prior to submission.
The submission must be in Microsoft Word.
Please do not compress electronically submitted work: no ZIP or other similar files will be accepted.

Acronyms

Please spell out the first occurrence with the acronym placed in parentheses as follows: Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)

Thereafter the use of the acronym only is permitted.

Section Headings

The section headings should be indicated as follows:

  • All major sections within the body of the submission must be numbered, for example:

2. The Application of Institutional Theory
2.1 The Nature of Isomorphism
2.2.1 Coercive Isomorphism

Numbering

Numbering within the text:

  • All numbers from zero to ten must be spelt out in full, e.g. one, three etc. Thereafter they can be written as numerals, e.g. 23, 178, 2019
  • Use commas when numbering as follows:
    • 1, 789
    • 145,000
    • 2, 136,453

Formatting

The formatting should be kept simple and include:

  • 12-point font, Times New Roman.
  • Provide 2.5cm margins all around the page.
  • Text must be 1.5 line-spaced.
  • Provide page numbers on all the pages of your manuscript, excluding the tile and abstract pages. The page numbers must be located in the bottom right hand side of the page.

Footnotes

Please use footnotes (not endnotes); it makes it easier for reviewers and the editor to review. Please note the following:

  • Footnotes must be used at the bottom of the page.
  • Footnote font size must a 10-point size, Times New Roman

Artwork

All artwork (graphs and diagrams) must be submitted as TIF, JPEG or GIF files. Please note the following:

  • All artwork should be referred to as figures and numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals.
  • The location of the artwork is to be specifically indicated in the text.
  • The figure number must be left-justified and appear above the body of the table.
  • The title of the figure should be next to the figure number, with one space between the two.
  • The source of the figure, if originating from another piece of published work, should be at the bottom of the body of the figure.
  • The font size for figure numbering, the title, the contents and the source should be in 11-point font Times New Roman.

Charts and Tables

Charts and Table features of Microsoft Word may be used. Please note the following:

  • Tables must be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals.
  • The table number must be left-justified and appear above the body of the table.
  • The title of the table should be next to the table number, with one space between the two.
  • The source of the table, if originating from another piece of published work, should be at the bottom of the body of the table.
  • The font size for table numbering, the title, the contents and the source should be in 11-point font Times New Roman.
  • All row headings and column headings should only have the first word presented in capitals.
  • If your table contains statistical results, please only use asterisks as described in the format below:
